The quality of education is already good in a few select parts of the world, but this quality needs to be distributed more evenly, and be made non-localized.
We welcome content that is interesting and can satisfy children’s curiosity as well as excite their imagination. You are welcome to contribute anything that you have used in your teaching, whether a chart, a poster, or a newspaper clipping. Anything that takes education beyond the textbooks for our children is useful. If you have time you could also create new content especially for this library.
- To see what kind of content you can create, look around in our library. If you have any questions, talk to the other teachers like you who are exchanging ideas and answering questions all the time on our forum.
- The material you contribute becomes a part of the library where all digital educational content in the form of audio-visual aids consisting of movies, video clips, animated demonstrations of scientific phenomena, 3-D graphics and much more, is available.
- What you contribute will be available to volunteer teachers and schools. The content will be reviewed, discussed and also mapped with the syllabi uploaded by schools in the portal.
- This digital content will be indexed based on schools’ curricula and will be searchable by region, subject, community, language etc.
As people use the content, review a variety of syllabi around the world, and use the resources in their teaching, the entire world community will begin to have a better understanding of what works and what does not, what materials and methods are more effective, and how to teach the various subjects to students of certain age groups or of specific backgrounds.
This library will also serve as a single interface where all teaching materials from around the world are stored, classified, graded, and made available for use in teaching. Education enthusiasts can use this portal to contribute their knowledge by uploading articles, audio visual demos, graphics, and so on. Students will have access to good quality study materials downloadable from the portal.
